In The Works is a collective of poets, working across art forms and genres to create poetry-based narratives about social issues and hopeful futures. We mic modern performance poetry mixed with old-fashioned, bardic storytelling. We champion the ambitious and thoughtful, the weird and the wonderful.
Our projects take the modern conventions of performance poetry and use them to create intricate and gripping narratives. From theatre to games, audio drama to music, we collaborate and work across genres to make something new, accessible and exciting.
We are a mixed group and work as a queer, disabled, anti-capitalist collective.
