SHOWCASE

In The Works is organising a showcase of spoken word theatre in March 2019. We have two slots to fill. Is your show a narrative performance poetry piece, or is it a theatre piece that is written as/includes performance poetry, then we would love to hear from you!

The showcase will be held in Glasgow, with date and venue to be organised in conversation with the selected artists. Publicity will be organised by In The Works. We are looking for applications for both the long-form slot and the 30-minute slot. Shows for the longform slot can be anywhere between 45-60 minutes. Shows for the 30-minute slot need to be close to 30 minutes in length. We can support up to 4 people on stage, and we are looking for shows that are low on technical requirements.

We offer a performance fee dependent on the slot, we have a budget to go towards travel, and we can offer basic accommodation if you are coming from outside of Glasgow. Please note the performance fee is not development money: we are looking for finished shows, or shows that are in their final stages of production.
